Just recently, Samsung launched two budget Android products, the Galaxy Fame and Galaxy Young. Windows 8 devices from Nokia are on a parade heading to the Philippines, with Lumia 920 and 620 leading the way, another is set for the beam – the Nokia Lumia 820.

For Windows Phone fans that are still on the lookout and on the hunt for a Windows 8 mobile machine, this then comes in more of a dilemma with one more option lining up… this gets to the breaking questions, Nokia or HTC, or a Samsung Ativ?

Let’s expound more of what you can get from a Lumia 820 metro shell. It’s a Snapdragon S4 powered device which needless to say is cored with Windows 8 Operating System that gives it those functional live tiles and matte metro colors. The system has in it 1GB of RAM which is more than enough to run Windows based mobile apps. While an 8GB onboard memory is somewhat insufficient but micro-SD expansion cards would take care of that increasing its capacity to external 64GB.

The Nokia Lumia 820 has a display perimeter of 4.3 inches on ClearBlack technology which bends to the screen build of the older Windows 7 device, the Nokia Lumia 900.

Although the Nokia Lumia 820 is set to land in the Philippines, there hasn’t been issued ETAs yet as well as pricing. So for those that’s on a plan of purchasing a new phone and has been eyeing Windows 8 mobile, we suggest you wait up a little more for the arrival of this Lumia device, who knows you might save some ube when this hits the market shelves.
Nokia is alleged to ignite a big bang this February at the scheduled Mobile World Congress 2013. Reportedly, a Nokia Lumia with high-powered imaging capacity of 41-megapixel, that’s 41 stunning megapixels enclosed within a Lumia Shell! This anticipated 41-megapixel behemoth will be a standalone Windows Phone 8 device as rumored, that said, we will be expecting three new Lumia products to be introduced very soon.

As the leaks state with tangible images, two of the projected Lumias are codenamed, Fame (Lumia 520) and Zeal (Lumia 720). The Lumia 520 sports a 5-megapixel camera that is limited to not having a front facing imaging eye. It’s alleged to run on 1GHz dual-core processor with 4-inch Super Sensitive screen, 480×800 pixel resolution.

Alternatively, the Nokia Lumia 720 would probably have a 4.3-inch screen on ClearBlack display like that of one of its predecessor, the Lumia900. That’s just about .3 difference from the Lumia 520 and is also engined with a 1GHz dual-core CPU, 512MB of RAM and 8GB onboard drive. The Lumia 720 differs in a way of having both a primary back camera at 6-megapixel and a secondary front-facing shooter at 2-megapixel.Both will be platformed on Windows Phone 8 OS.
We’ve recently seen a slew of Smart Wi-Fi routers from Linksys, those that support app based relay from Android machines with utility controls over the web and some cloud support. This time, Linksys is introducing another squad of routers not just built for routing, but more aligned into multimedia streaming.

Here’s a list down of the newer Smart Wi-Fi routers from Linksys:

AC 1750 HD Video Pro (EA6700)
AC 1600 Video Enthusiast (EA6400)
AC 1200 Advanced Multimedia (EA6300)

The names doesn’t sound like router names for me. At first it sounded to me like model names for a digital camcorder like that of a Sony or Canon. Those that says Video and Multimedia? Well, no need to sound confused liked me since these Linksys Smart Wi-Fi routers are augmented to handle routing priorities specific to HD content streaming. So that makes video playbacks on top priority.
Now this is concluding! Galaxy S4 rumors here and there, YOUM possibilities, upgraded processor, larger screen, upsized display dimensions, and even beamed keyboards? Everyone is excited to see what will the Galaxy S4 be like come its official release but on this one lucky day leaks aGLbenchmark graph suggesting its components vividly.

Let’s get straight to the barebones! Samsung SHV-E300S or the supposed Galaxy S4 as the benchmark leak implies will be engined with an MSM8960 quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragonclocked at 1.9GHz, graphics rendering is managed by an Adreno 320 GPUcapable of a full 1920 x 1080 resolution display, and the system will have 2GB of RAM.

Quitesurprising while many have thought that this Korean superphone will be cored by an Exynos 5 Octa quad-core processor. With its supposed system, the off-screenbenchmark graphing shows that itsupersedes its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S III. But with on-screen standards, the Galaxy S4 is several frames diminished compared to a Google Nexus 4. Although the Nexus 4 wins some fraction, the comparison wouldn’t be LG vs Samsung, but predecessorcontra successor, in that case, the Galaxy S III vs Galaxy S4.

This Samsung SHV-E300S (Galaxy S4) benchmark graph doesn’t lighten up rumors as more fans and also trolls would bank on this report with possitivities and somenegativities. Well, we wouldn’t be hearing long about those since everything will be concluded when the Mobile World Congress emerges very soon!

It’s been three different days of about 5 to 6 day interval, I can say about a month accumulatively that I’ve been coming home unfulfilled. Cherry Mobile W300 here in my place is still inexistent!

It’s been three times I’ve gone to three major gadget stores here in Legazpi City looking for a Cherry Mobile W300, but everytime, all I get is “walapo stock sir eh”.

I badly need to get one before the 1st of March as a present for someone else’s big day! Yes it’s true that I can get one through Sulit.com.ph or AyosDito.com.ph but I need a tangible receipt where I can demand warranty fixes in case of some device issues that might come along the way.

Anyway, enough of the rant! This is just a part of my noodled thoughts for today. That only somehow concludes that there are really lots of Pinoys choosing the CM brand. With that high demand, I guess it calls for more production.
We’ve got another affordable Android machine with on-the-go TV functions from CM, the Cherry Mobile Titan TV.

One thing to note, the Cherry Mobile Titan TV isn’t a surrogate to the CM Titan. They are both standalone products with respective identities. What separates them in classes would be its screen viewing perimeter. The Cherry Mobile Titan TV is designed to reasonably align its name as a mobile television – having 6 inches of portable display is just about enough for it to be called an on-the-go TV literally. Yes, there maybe Cherry Mobile TV phones with smaller screen sizes and they are all functional but a 6-incher is redefining!

The Cherry Mobile Titan TV isn’t limited to just being an analog TV receiver but also a media beast. It has an 8-megapixel primary camera installed on the back and a 2MP self-portrait shooter on the front. And since its size is enough to be considered a phablet, it’s a clever verdict of having a stylus for some Samsung Galaxy Note II feel awhile drawing some woman’s eyes.

Let me lastly mention that the CM Titan TV runs on an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, which isn’t that archaic, there will probably be Jelly Bean upgrades coming soon. And oh, the onboard storage will be a little limited with just a 4GB drive, although an expansion slot is present that would still be some purple peso bills for getting micro-SD’s from CD-R King.

How much was it again? The Cherry Mobile Titan TV is tagged with a Php6,999 price label. It’s totally affordable for a droid that can morph itself into a TV with some S Pen-like experience. But if your weighing things down if you’d be getting a device with a screen larger of an inch, then your Php6,999 probably would exact to an Asus 7-inch Memo Pad.
Chery Mobile Philippines has just announced over their official Facebook page that they’ve started seeding out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates specific to a Cherry Mobile Blaze.
