Canon never fails, but I miss gunning with a Nikon barrel

noodleboss-christmas-2012

Don’t take this post as a confession of a professional. I never was since I never had the chance of devoting all my senses for a fraction always reverts back to writing. Again, I was never interested in photographs on my own liking. It’s that external force that pushed me into loving photographs. But still, if asked, I’d choose to spend more time writing than shooting!

Church of Nabua

church-of-nabua-history

The church of Nabua was originally built in this town in 1578. In 1610, the first church was burned. In 1611, the second church was then constructed but was destroyed by a typhoon. Between 1630 and 1656 was when the third church was erected. In 1700, the present church was completed, and was unroofed by a typhoon in 1875. In 1978, the church was renovated. The belfry was damaged by an earthquake in 1850. It was reconstructed between 1890 and 1894.

legaspi seabridge

seabridge-legazpi-port

A bridge which connects to Legazpi Sea Wall Park from Legazpi Sea Port.

lamppost

lamppost

I marvel much with lampposts… some light with limited luminance yet too solid and strong to out-stand the thick darkness just to outlast and shine on its territorial ground.

bud

bud

Just like another somebody being born. Slowly opening her eyes to see the mystical sun. Another soul to wander the earth. Another human to become a person... a person to undergo youth... another soul to either live wisely or wildly, another brain to either contribute or parasite. Another heart to either love or hate.

bloomed

bloomed

Yet another flower bloomed… Another wild heart born, to smile and cry… to live and soon die…

Lucky Me Pancit Canton: the rich and poor’s taste buds

luckyme-pancit-canton

This somehow brings all to a point of equality, which concludes that the rich's taste buds are also the same with the poor's. We could be poor, they may be rich, but we all get to cook our food with the same fire.

Having a month's gap without uploading a piece on this photoblog, I haven’t forgotten to shoot though. Just haven’t gotten the time of posting so.

dimmed

dimmed

Cobwebs... dust... an old fluorescent frame and a ballast... spiraled wires left unplugged to no functional purpose... incandescent light centraled in replacement of the old cathode like tubing... Epic, truly epic for me...

shrubed

shrubed

Shrubed in height since the flowers are of really low vertical lengths. This is a scenery by the roads of Legazpi City connecting to Tabaco, Albay. I ain't sure of the exact name of the place since I had not had the chance to glance on any road adboards or anything. This is also a common place where a lot of photographers go about with their models for portraiture photoshoots.
